Praying for a God-fearing candidate to be elected president, it started to become too clear that there was the choice between Obama and McCain. I resisted the idea to vote for the better of the two; and decided my vote was best cast toward an underdog.
My immediate purpose was not to elect a third-party candidate, but to cast my vote in such a way that, perhaps, enough votes would show America that the underdog could win in an upcoming election.
That is when I began to have the thoughts of campaigning heavily for 2012. If Ron Paul wasn't going to run, then I would help whoever was going to run; and start right away.
